3D Industrial Rendering - Petrol / Oil Refinery Unit and Sky Horse Crane

3d visualization to simulate an engineering operation.

The 3d model of a petrol refinery unit and the Sky Horse crane was made in 1992-1993 to produce 3D renderings (static images) displaying renovation maneuver concerning the replacement of an old industrial equippament for a new one. The refinery unit was thorousghly 3D built according to the plot plan and the 30 meters high Sky Horse crane tecnical specifications. I used Autocad to build the meshes. Later on, as an experience, I produced these 3D animations using 3D Studio r.4 to render. (Hardware: 486 processor)

Visualization: Although its a quite simple model in terms of textureing, it gives a rough idea about the engineering operation

3D Technical Animation:- Fly-by animation and objects moves in the scene. The camera moves around the 3D model and then it stop to shot the replacement of an old industrial equippament for a new one.
